Del Mar, California. Where the turf meets the surf... and sandy, coastal soil meets the clay-rich inland strata... tree pruning, planting, and preservation concerns will vary enormously.
Del Mar, like much of coastal North San Diego County, straddles the line between two separate bio zones: coastal sage scrub, and oak woodland.
